Bandwidth-the range of transmission frequencies that a network can use. the greater the bandwidth the greater the information that can travel at one time.
Blog-a web site where users can post a chronological, up to date e-journal entry.
Broken Link/ Broken Graphic- a link which no longer works
Client-a remote computer connected to a host or server
Connect Time-the amount of time spent connected to an internet service
DNS Server-a database system that translates an IP address from a numeric IP address into text
Download- to transfer a file from another computer to your computer
Host- any computer that can function as the beginning and end pointer of data transfers.

Hyperlink: text or pictures that allow you to go to another webpage when you click on it.
Hypermedia: movies, audio files, or programs that allow you to download or go to another page
hypertext: text only that allows you to go to another page or see a text file
ip address: is the address of your comuter. you only have one if you have internet. it is only numbers
isp: internet service provider the company that provides your internet
keyword: on a search engine is a word or phrase you type up to start the search
link:same as hyperlink
navigation bar: are directional tools like a menu that directs the use of
protocol: http:// lets anyone use and see the internet regardless of the computer type
